I’m a former HR professional, I worked in this field for more than a decade before trading office wear for a smock. I’m now a recipe developer, cookbook author and entrepreneur.
As a seasoned HR professional with a strong marketing background, I effectively balanced my time, used marketing strategies and analyzed consumer behavior on my journey as an entrepreneur and author. My strong business acumen and formal business education has helped me achieve many personal and professional objectives.
Driven by a lifelong passion for literature, creative writing, books and baking, I turned my passion into my profession and have never looked back. A recipe developer by day and content creator by night, I’m a published author and owner of the established home-based dessert shop, Melting Moments. I widened my scope by hosting popular baking workshops where techniques are taught to bring forth scrumptious perfection. I believe that desserts are magical and the best way to bring people together.
I began writing cookbooks after obsessing over baking and baking books, tweaking old recipes to create new ones. I have garnered much acclaim for my cookbooks, A Confectioner’s Secrets, published in 2018 and ‘Cakes, Desserts and Beyond’ published in 2022. My work has been featured in the Gulf Daily News, Gulf Weekly, Woman This Month and Layali Magazine.
A lover of beaches and naps, when I’m is not baking or writing you will find me chasing sunsets or savoring a brownie with a hot cup of Earl Grey.
